Many of you have written asking us to locate the holiday songs Jennifer has recorded. The songs: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, O Little Town of Bethlehem and I’ll Be Home for Christmas, can be found on the Hallmark albums The Tradition of Christmas, 1991 and The Christmas Treasury, 1994, but are no longer available for sale through Hallmark. Occasionally they can be found on e-Bay and the other auction sites. The individual songs can sometimes be found on the music download sites. The rich arrangements on the Hallmark Christmas albums were created by Stephen Barber and Bill Ginn who are also responsible for most of the orchestral arrangements on Famous Blue Raincoat, The Hunter and The Well. Joel Deroin is playing the violin on I’ll Be Home for Christmas.
Regretfully, On a Christmas Day from A Christmas Miracle, 1998, an album for the Children’s Miracle Network is not readily available, but occasionally appears on e-Bay.
The Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth duet with Michel Bérubé is available on his album This Christmas (2005).
Lullaby for Christmas Night written by Doug Haywood, is currently unreleased and exclusive to the website jukebox during the holiday season.
Cold Enough To Snow was written by two great composers: Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken especially for the film Life With Mikey starring Michael J. Fox. The soundtrack album is occasionally available on the web, and contains a few variations of this beautiful song.
The lone Christmas tree photograph taken by me at my father’s home town of Utica, New York.
